AllPondSolutions 3000L Pressurised Pond Filter 9w UV Easy Clean PFC-3000

Small ponds get the same algae problems as large ones, but there is nowhere to put a full-sized filter. The PFC-3000 is the compact answer: a pressurised pond filter with a built-in 9w UV clarifier, sized for ponds up to 3000 litres and small enough to bury or screen out of sight.

Being pressurised is what makes that possible. Your pond pump keeps the unit continuously pressurised, maintaining excellent water quality for healthy fishkeeping, and water is fed directly from the pump through the filter container to the outlet without losing pressure. The outlet can therefore be located higher than the filter body, making it easier to disguise around the pond - particularly useful if incorporating a waterfall.

A rotating cleaning handle sits on the head. Turning it rinses the interior sponge clean and reduces the need to dis-assemble the unit at all.

The built-in UV light effectively prevents growth of algae and eliminates harmful micro-organisms and parasites which may cause fish diseases.

Filtration

Water passes through the PFC-3000 in the following order:

• 1) Pond water flows into the PFC-3000 via your pond pump
• 2) Filtration begins by removing large particles through a mixture of coarse and fine filter foams (mechanical filtration)
• 4) The exiting water is exposed to a 9w UV steriliser capable of reducing harmful bacteria and algae
• 5) Clean, clear and healthy water exits your PFC-3000 and returns to your pond.
