A pond clarifier runs unattended for months at a time, so what happens when something goes wrong matters as much as how well it works. The AllPondSolutions 36w SSUV has built-in advanced thermal protection that shuts the unit down automatically if it is in danger of overheating, then restarts it and continues to operate once it has cooled back to normal temperature.*

The rest of the design is about getting more from the same lamp. An efficient stainless steel build makes it up to 30% more effective than comparable plastic products, and the reflective body increases the effectiveness of UVC clarification by 50% or more by returning light that would otherwise be lost. The steel construction is extra tough and durable, made for long-lasting use and crystal clear pond water.

Designed for large ponds, the SSUV uses a one in / one out system for water delivery and exit, and an array of attachments is supplied to fit either flexible hose or BSP pipe fittings. A transparent panel lets you check that the UV is fully operational at all times.

Getting to the quartz sleeve for maintenance or replacement is easy: turn the ballast counter-clockwise and gently pull it apart from the UV case.

IMPORTANT: Before opening up SSUV unit, ensure the system is off at the mains and you turn off the power to your pump / external filter. UV bulbs and quartz sleeves are very fragile - handle with care.

Each unit comes with a 2-year warranty for extra peace of mind.
