AllPondSolutions 9w Pond & Aquarium UV Steriliser CUV-209

Contact time is everything with ultraviolet treatment. Rather than letting water run straight through the tube, this steriliser feeds it through a helix so it spins as it travels, holding it under the lamp for longer and exposing it far more evenly before it reaches the outlet. That is the efficiency gain behind the Ultra Violet Clarifier, and why it remains a key element of a well filtered clear water system.

The unit also has three inlet / outlets rather than the usual two, which is genuinely useful if the treated water needs to feed a two-fall waterfall, or a waterfall and a filter together. Three stepped hosetails are supplied to fit a variety of hose sizes, and a transparent centre panel means you can confirm the UV is fully operational at any time.

A separate glass viewport is included as well; fit it in place of one of the hosetails and the steriliser runs as a straightforward one-in / one-out unit.
