AllPondSolutions 72w Pond & Aquarium UV Steriliser CUV-272

Water that races straight down a UV tube spends very little time actually being treated. The CUV-272 changes the path: a helix inside the body sets the water spinning as it travels, so every part of it gets a longer and far more even exposure to the lamps before reaching the outlet. That efficiency is why the Ultra Violet Clarifier remains such a key element of a well filtered clear water system.

A transparent centre panel lights up while the unit is running, giving instant confirmation that the UV is operational without opening anything. Two stepped hosetails are supplied to fit a variety of hose sizes, and a separate glass viewport is included which can replace one of them if you want to run the unit one-in / one-out.

Advanced thermal protection is fitted. If the unit is at risk of overheating it shuts down automatically and restarts once it has returned to normal temperature. To avoid that happening in the first place, site the unit somewhere sensibly cool rather than in direct sunlight or a hot, humid, enclosed space.
