AllPondSolutions 25000L Pressurised Pond Filter Easy Clean PFC-25000-KIT

Filters rarely end up next to the pond edge where the pump sits - they get tucked behind a hedge, under a deck or round the side of a rockery. This kit is specified with that in mind, supplying 38mm pond hose x 10 metres and 38mm double wire clips x 5 alongside the PFC-25000 pressurised filter and an AQUAECO-12000 pump, so there is enough run to put the unit where you actually want it.

The filter is one of our Pressurised Pond Filters with built-in UV Clarifiers, designed to be continuously pressurised by your pond pump to maintain excellent water quality for healthy fishkeeping. Water runs from the pump into the filter container and on to the outlet under constant pressure, so the outlet can sit higher than the filter body - useful for hiding the unit, and useful again if you are feeding a waterfall.

Upkeep is handled by a rotating cleaning handle on the head. Turning it rinses the interior sponge and reduces the need to dis-assemble, and a small float pops out of the head when a detailed clean is due. Once rinsed, open the separate outlet and let the dirty water discharge until it runs clean.

A built-in UV Light comes fitted to each unit, effectively preventing growth of algae and eliminating harmful micro-organisms and parasites which may cause fish diseases.

Filtration

Water passes through the PFC-25000 in the following order:

1. Pond water flows into the PFC-25000 via your pond pump
2. Initial filtration begins by removing large particles through a mixture of coarse and fine filter foams (mechanical filtration)
3. Then the water passes across bio balls that harbour good bacteria across large surface area (biological filtration)
4. Lastly the exiting water is exposed to a 36w UV steriliser capable of reducing harmful bacteria and algae
5. Clean, clear and healthy water exits your PFC-25000 and returns to your pond.

The AquaECO series of pond pumps from AllPondSolutions uses innovative new electronics to bring massive energy savings, low noise and long durability while maintaining high performance. Compared to other pond pump brands the wattage use of the AquaECO range of pond pumps is extremely economical, saving you money in the long run.

The pump is designed to circulate water to a pond filter or waterfall, and its cage is specially designed to prevent clogging by providing the maximum surface area for drawing water in through the guard to the pump. An additional inlet is included with the AquaECO pump, allowing you to attach hose to the pump inlet and feed it directly from a source such as a pond skimmer.
