About the AllPondSolutions 500L/H Hang-on External Filter
A tumbling waterfall return does two useful things at once: it puts filtered water back where you want it and drives oxygen into the tank on the way. That is how this 500L/H hang-on external filter finishes its cycle, and it suits fresh or salt water aquariums holding up to 90 litres.
How it works
Water is drawn up a vertical plastic inlet tube into the large filter chamber, where a media-filled pad takes care of mechanical, biological and chemical filtration in a single stage. Once through the media, the water spills back into the aquarium via the waterfall-effect outlet.
The bracket clamps to rims of up to 15mm and the flow is adjustable, so the same unit can be tuned for a quiet planted setup or a busier community tank.
