Small tanks swing in temperature faster than large ones, so the heater in a nano or quarantine setup has to be both accurately adjustable and physically tough. The AllPondSolutions AH-25 aquarium heater covers the second point with 2 mm thick double insulated, shock-resistant glass, and the first with an easy access temperature control dial adjustable between 16-32 degrees.
A chrome nickel helical heating coil sits inside, designed for maximum life and even heating rather than concentrating warmth in one spot. The unit is completely submersible, compatible with fresh and saltwater alike, and carries a heating light indicator so you can see when it is drawing power.
