Doubling the filter bays is the straightforward way to handle a pond that has outgrown a single box, and that is the principle behind this 12000L koi system. Two separate bays share the load, letting a variety of filter media treat high volumes of water and keep the pond looking crystal clear.

The system is supplied complete: a CBF-350B dual filter box, a CUV-236 36w steriliser that mounts on the side of the box or can be positioned close by, and an AQUAECO-10000 pump moving 10000 litres per hour.

Filter Operation

Each of the 2 bays has 4 different stages of filtration (see below). The first bay comes complete with four (4) Blue Coarse Filter Foams, and the remaining bay has four (4) Yellow Fine Filter Foams included.

1. Firstly, the water passes through the filter media bay (stocked with media of your choice)
2. Then the water is guided through high-quality Japanese matting;
3. After matting, the water will flow through the filter foams provided;
4. The last section of each filter bay has additional room for filter media.

Please note the filter must be placed on the edge of the pond as the clean water flows straight back into the pond not an outlet pipe

An additional cleaning tool comes with this model, allowing you to rinse through your foams without even removing them from your filter box.
