Clear water in a koi pond comes down to moving the whole volume through enough media, often enough. The AllPondSolutions 6000L Koi Pond Filter System is a complete box filtration set-up built to do exactly that, passing pond water through assorted filter media plus fine and coarse foams.
It arrives as a working kit: the CBF-350 filter box, a CUV-218 18w steriliser which attaches to the side of the box (or can be positioned close by), and the FPP 3500 pond pump rated at 3500 litres per hour. Included FREE are 5x double wire clips and 10 metres of 38mm flexible hosing.
Filter Operation
Media is spread across separate compartments inside the filter bay, so high volumes of water can be handled at once. Two (2) blue coarse filter foams and two (2) yellow fine filter foams come with this single bay system.
Filtration happens in four stages:
1) Water enters the filter media bay first, stocked with media of your choice
2) It is then guided through high-quality Japanese matting
3) From the matting it passes through the filter foams provided
4) The final section of the bay leaves room for additional filter media
Please note the filter must be placed on the edge of the pond as the clean water flows straight back into the pond not an outlet pipe
