AllPondSolutions 1000L/H Aquarium External Filter 1000EF

Every piece of kit you can move out of the tank is swimming space returned to the fish. The AllPondSolutions 1000EF sits outside the aquarium entirely, doing the same job as an internal powerhead filter while leaving the display uncluttered and running at 1000 Litres per Hour.

Water is drawn out through an inlet tube and returned crystal clear through an outlet tube, both of which are supplied. The return carries a spray-bar, which breaks the surface and helps increase oxygen aeration levels within the tank. Housing the unit outside also frees up a huge internal capacity for media, making it well suited to larger volume tanks.

Inside, filtration is multi-stage. Tank water works its way through three (3) internal layered baskets, each filled with a different filter media material, so biological, mechanical and chemical filtration all happen in sequence and to an extremely thorough standard.

Ceramic rings, bio balls, activated carbon foam and fine filter foam are all supplied. Running the tank on this media produces a vastly improved level of waste-free water through extremely strong biological purification, and because the layered baskets are easy to access you can customise your media choices to suit your aquarium and fish livestock needs.

Cleaning is very simple. The drip-free shut-off tap lets you disconnect the filter and carry it away from the aquarium to somewhere more suitable for the job. Each media basket lifts smoothly out, rinses through and returns to continue its operation.
