About the Ceramic Rings Filter Media 400g

Porous ceramic gives nitrifying bacteria vastly more surface to colonise than the same volume of solid media, and that is the whole point of these bio rings. They provide a greater air surface for bacterial development and help decompose ammonia and nitrate efficiently.

Ceramic will withstand any chemical reaction, which makes the rings suitable for both fresh and salt water fish tanks and ideal for use in internal or external pond and aquarium filters. This is AllPondSolutions Ceramic Bio Rings Filter Media for Aquariums and Ponds, from 400g to 8kg.

Please ensure you thoroughly rinse your media until the water runs clear prior to use.

Packed as follows:

  • 400g = 1 x 400g Bag
  • 2kg = 5 x 400g Bags
  • 4kg = 10 x 400g Bags
  • 8kg = 20 x 400g Bags
