Open or high-sided?
This open tray is the right choice for cats that dislike feeling enclosed, and for older cats that need a low step over the side. If your cat sprays or digs enthusiastically, the high-sided tray with scoop has tall shell-shaped walls that keep litter and urine inside.
Filling it
Fill to a depth of about 7cm. Scoop the clumps daily and top up with fresh litter rather than replacing the lot. Our low dust clumping litter suits open trays well, since there is no hood to contain dust when you pour.
