Installation asks very little of you - no mains water feed, no difficult wiring. Connect the water pump piping, install the solar panel, place the solar panel in the full sun, add water and enjoy!
Pump performance in different weather conditions:
- Battery Status which is located on the back of the Solar Panel shows Red (needs charging) Green(fully charged)
- on/off button also located on the back of Solar Panel for when you wish to charge to use in the evening.

| Full Sun | The solar panel powers the pump and charges the battery. PLEASE NOTE: The solar panel takes 2 hours to fully charge. Once fully charged it powers the pump and LED for approx 2 hours in cloudy conditions. |
| Partly Sunny | The solar panel powers the pump and LED light and supplies extra energy to the battery. Performance is maintained when the clouds pass. |
| Cloudy | The pump and LED light will only run when there is sufficient power from the battery. Little or no battery charging occurs. |
