What size harness does my dog need?
Measure your dog first — breed is a rough guide at best, and two dogs of the same breed can take different sizes.
- Chest (the important one). Measure right around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Neck (a double-check). Measure around the base of the neck, where a collar would sit.
You should be able to slip two fingers under the tape. If your dog is between sizes, go up.
